Child Rights Day

20 Nov 18

20 November is celebrated as Child Rights Day. This day was first established in 1989 with the unanimous adoption of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly. The Convention recognizes the civil, economic, social and cultural rights of all children.

In some states of India, November 14 – 21 is also celebrated as Child Rights Week.
