Post- Matric Scholarship

The Ministry of Minority Affairs award scholarships under the scheme to meritorious students belonging to   economically   weaker   sections   of   minority   community . The scholarship is to be  awarded for studies in  India in a  government or private higher secondary school/college/university.  30%  of  scholarship  will  be  earmarked  for  girl  students.

Benefit

  • Admission and Tuition Fees in Eleventh and Twelfth Class -
  • The maximum limit of 7000 rupees per year for residential students
  • For the general students, the maximum limit of annual expenditure is 7000 rupees
  • Eleven and twelfth standard student’s technical and work-education tuition fees (including equipment costs) -
  • The actual cost per year for residential students is Rs. 10000
  • The actual cost per year for general students is Rs. 10000
  • Graduation and postgraduate level admission and tuition fees -
  • The actual cost limit for residential students is 3000 rupees per year
  • The actual cost limit for general students is 3000 rupees per year
  • Maintenance allowance -
  • For residential students, not more than 10 months in a academic year
  • For  general students, not more than 10 months in a academic year
  • Fees for eleven and twelfth grade students including technical and work-education
  • For residential students, Rs. 235/ month
  • For general students, Rs. 140/ month
  • For graduate and postgraduate students without technical and work-education -
  • Monthly 355 rupees for residential students
  • Monthly 185 rupees for general students
  • For the M.Phil or PhD dignitaries who did not receive any Fellowship from the University or any other authority-
  • Monthly 510 rupees for residential students
  • Monthly 330 rupees students for general students

Elegibility

Award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of the society of SC/ ST/ OBC and minority communities ( family income should not exceed Rs 2 lacs) and the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination
