Post –independence, in 1959, Mammathapur Shikshabhavan High School was established in the remote village of Mammathapur. The communication facility between the main town and the village is also very poor. Though the number of teachers is less compared to that of the students, the interst among them was noticeable. Though, initially, the students were shy to speak, but gradually they began to interact and participated in theatre activities. Though the students were more or less aware of child marriage, they were ignorant about human trafficking. After becoming aware of various laws, helpline numbers the mustered courage to stand against human trafficking and child marriage.
